Jesus Is Your Standard.

Friday, September 22nd.
Jesus Is Your Standard.

“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith …”
Hebrews 12:2

Any Christianity that is less than what we see in Jesus and the Apostles is substandard Christianity.

Therefore, make up your mind not to settle for anything that's less than God's best. Instead, grow up into Him in all things. This is because it is your destiny to be like Jesus and to do the works of Jesus.

Do you know that your hands and every part of your body are the members of Christ? The Bible says in Ephesians 5:30, “For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.”

Therefore, your hands are His hands. So use your hands to heal the sick and raise the dead, because now you know that you are the body of Christ.

In 1 Corinthians 6:15 the Bible says, “Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ?” In other words, he is telling us that our physical bodies are plugged into Christ. Therefore, what should not be in Jesus should not be in your body. Also, what Jesus can do, you can do also. This is because the same anointing that flows in Christ flows in you also.

Make this confession aloud, say; “My body belongs to Christ. Jesus finds expression through my body.”

The Bible says in Ephesians 1:22-23, “And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.” According to the Bible, if God has put all things under the feet of Christ and you are the Body of Christ, it therefore means that all things have been put under your feet, and the fullness of Christ is in you.

Confession.
I belong to Christ and Jesus is my Lord. My body belongs to Christ. Jesus finds expression through my body. I am seated together with Him in heavenly places. I am far above all principalities, powers, might and dominion. All things are under my feet because I function with the authority of Christ. Amen.
