Your success is your responsibility.

“When everything was hopeless, Abraham believed anyway, deciding to live not on the basis of what he saw he couldn't do but on what God said he would do… ” Romans 4:18(MSG)

From our opening scripture, Abraham had to believe God inspite of the hopelessness he saw. He took personal responsibility for his success in the word of God.

Do you know that Wilson Churchill who can be attributed to be one of the greatest Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, was thought to be a dunce. But he took responsibility for his life and he became successful.
Success begins with a sense of personal responsibility. You must change your thinking to believe that you are responsible for what you turn out to be. Don’t just sit there saying, “they said I am a dunce.” No! God made you better than that.

Are you aware that they said Michael Faraday was mentally retarded? Yet he took responsibility for his life and he went on to have one of the biggest breakthroughs in electricity which we are enjoying today. The same thing was said about Isaac Newton; he was said to be mentally retarded. Yet he also took responsibility for his life and he went on in history to become one of the greatest inventors as he discovered the law of gravity. What have you come to believe about you?

In Romans 4:18, the bible speaks of Abraham saying “Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.” In other words, we become what we believe.

The Bible says, “… Abraham believed in hope …” What is hope? Hope is that positive picture you have in your mind. So, Abraham believed that new picture, he believed the new picture God gave him of his future and he became the father of many nations even as it is written. So God may desire you to prosper, God may desire you to be in health, but you’ve got to believe for it to come to pass in your life.

Confession
I am a believer and not a doubter. I take full responsibility to be, to do and to have all that God has ordained for me to be, do and have by the divine empowerment of the blessing upon my life. In Jesus Name. Amen

Doing the word
If you’ve been thinking like a failure, repent in your thinking. Think success and expect to succeed in all that you do
