You are preserved from falling.

“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”                                         1 Thessalonians 5:23(KJV)

From our opening scripture, we can see that man is a spirit, he has a soul and he lives in a body. And God wants every part of your being to be preserved blameless unto His coming.

This means that your spirit, soul and body can be preserved blameless. The word preserve also means to be preserved from injury. That means you can live to the fullness of age without any part of your body malfunctioning.

The next verse which is 1 Thessalonians 5:24 says, “Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.” So be conscious of this truth that it is God’s will to preserve your spirit, soul and body. Amen.

Your spirit is the real you, because your spirit is the centre of life. So, if God is able to preserve your spirit, it means that you can be preserved from falling from the faith as a child of God. Jude 1:24 says, “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy” Also, the Bible also says in Romans 14:4 says, “Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.”

Therefore, since you now know that it is God’s will to keep you from falling, and to preserve you blameless in your spirit, soul and body. I will like to encourage you with the words of Paul the Apostle in Philippians 2:12-13, “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”

Prayer
Dear Father of mercies I thank you, for you sanctify me completely, and you are able to preserve me blameless and faultless in my spirit, soul and body until the coming of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
