Tuesday, August  23rd

You are different.

“When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.”
Proverbs 16:7

Do you know that God can cause those who hate you to work for your good? I know you may wonder how that will be possible, but the Bible shows us that it is possible.

Are you aware that before Moses was born, the Pharaoh at that time passed a law to the Hebrew midwives saying, “When you deliver the Hebrew women, look at the sex of the baby. If it's a boy, kill him; if it's a girl, let her live.” Exodus 1:16(MSG) When they refused to obey him, he passed another law to all his people, “Every boy that is born, drown him in the Nile. But let the girls live.” Exodus 1:22(MSG)

When Moses was born and his mother discovered that she could not hide him anymore after three months she put him in a basket waterproofed it with tar and pitch and allowed him to float on the Nile. Do you know whose daughter came to Moses' rescue? Pharaoh's daughter. She not only rescued Moses, she paid Moses mother to nurse him for her and then bring Moses to live in the palace of the Pharaoh that wanted him dead initially. (See Exodus 2:1-10) God can use your enemies to bless you.

Sometimes we may be tempted to base our lives on someone's experience. They may tell you that the people there are wicked, do not let fear grip your heart, know that your case is different; God will cause them to work for your good.

Confession.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that all things are working together for my good because I love God and I am called according to His design and purpose. Amen.
