“But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:” Galatians 1:15-16.
Today based on our opening scripture, I want you to know that the first thing to prioritize if you are going to fulfill destiny is your relationship with God. This is because with God, fellowship precedes function. So before God releases you, He wants a relationship with you.
For instance, yesterday, I made known to you that my purpose for living is to help men find God
(Salvation), follow Him and fulfill His plans and purpose for their lives.
As a Christian you must follow the example of Jesus because He is our model. Anything less than the model of Jesus is not Christianity. Jesus Christ is the chief cornerstone of the church.
So God's plan is for us to find Him and to follow Him. We are called to be followers of God according to Ephesians 5:1 which says, “Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;” How do we follow Him? We are to imitate the model that we see in Jesus. This is because the word follow in the Greek is the word imitate or to mimic. This is why the New King James Version puts Ephesians 5:1 this way, “Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.”
Therefore if you are going to fulfil God's destiny for your life, you must be a follower of God by imitating the model you see in Jesus.
