If you desire to be truly successful, Jesus gives you an open invitation today in our opening scripture to follow Him so He can make you. This means that every man's making is in His followership of the Lord. Are you really following the Lord? You can tell if you are. For instance, when was the last time you spent quality time with God in His Word?
I want you to be rest assured that you cannot follow Jesus and fail. If you fail, God will lack credibility. The Bible says in Psalm 89:14, “Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne …”
I have read books where people built their business around the philosophy of Jesus and succeeded. This is why even the secular world recognizes that Jesus Christ is still the greatest leader of all time.
Therefore I encourage you to follow and imitate Jesus in whatever you do because that is the key to success. Refuse to seek in any other place what only God can give to you because whatever you look up to as god that is not God will eventually fail you.
Your security is in Jesus so follow Him because it is in following Him that purpose of making you fishers of men and all that He has ordained for you to be, do or have will be fulfilled. All the Apostles fulfilled their destiny including the Apostle Paul, therefore if you follow Him, you will of necessity fulfill your destiny.
