Effect Of The Blessing

“And I will make of thee a great nation, and
I willbless thee, and make thy name great; and
thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them
that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee:
and in thee shall all families of the earth be
blessed.”
Genesis 12:2-3.

Anything that continues from one
Ageneration to another has been blessed by God.
Therefore you can never experience consistent
productivity without the Blessing. The Blessing
has a trans-generational influence. When God
blesses you, that blessing impacts your children.

What your children becomes is decided by the
Blessing upon you. Psalm 112:1-3 says, “Praise ye
the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord,
that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His
seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of
the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall
be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for
ever.” Therefore if your children are going to be
influential in this world then you must be blessed.

According to Genesis 12:2 (AMP) we see that favour
is a consequence of the Blessing, “And I will make
of you a great nation, and I will bless you [with
abundant increase of favors] …” When you are blessed
you will begin to experience favours. When you are
favoured, you will be promoted, you will be liked and
you will begin to have more opportunities than other
people.

Just like the Blessing, the favour you experience can
be more or less. In Luke 2:40 (ESV), the Bible says
concerning Jesus, “And the child grew and became
strong, filled with wisdom. And the favor of God
was upon him.” Here we see that the favour of God
was upon Jesus but in Luke 2:52 (ESV) we see that
He increased in favour “And Jesus increased in
wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and
man.” This means you can increase in favour the
same way the effects of the Blessing can increase in
your life.

Instruction.
Please read Genesis 24:12, Genesis 27:20 (ESV),
Isaiah 60:22 (NIV) and ask God to give you good
speed by His favour throughout the year.

For further study, read:
Genesis 22:16-18, Luke 1:28,
