Yesterday we began looking at some of the things that cause hopelessness. The first thing we saw was self-condemnation.
The second thing that causes hopelessness is incessant disappointments. Constant failing can lead to hopelessness. Hopelessness can cause you to lose sight of your vision. What is a vision? A vision is a promise of hope. So when you cannot see a future, death becomes attractive.
Before anyone commits suicide, they must first lose sight of the future. There are others who become suicidal because of the absence of love in their lives. It is because they do not know how much God loves them. Do not let the devil lie to you that God hates you. God loves you unconditionally. Stop focusing on your mistakes and the bad things you have done. Receive the love of Christ today because He is willing and ready to forgive you for all your sins and wrong doing.
Yes you may have failed many times for many years but God is able to give you another opportunity. He is able to restore the years and everything that has been lost. God is also able to bring something beautiful out of your life.
