Social Prosperity

“But all Israel and Judah loved David, for he went out and came in before them.”
1 Samuel 18:16 (ESV)

Social prosperity is having favour with people. That was what David enjoyed as seen in our opening scripture. He had favour with all of Israel and they loved him.

You need social prosperity in your life. When you have social prosperity, you will be liked and accepted by others. When you have the favour of God upon you, you will have social prosperity because the favour of God is what makes social prosperity possible.

In Luke 1:28 the angel said to Mary, “… Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.” Mary had social prosperity because the favour of God was upon her. Jesus had social prosperity because the favour of God was upon him as seen in Luke 2:40 (ESV), “And the child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom. And the favor of God was upon him.” Jesus also experienced increase in favour with God and man as seen in Luke 2:52 (ESV), “And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.”

Joseph had social prosperity which gave him favour with Potiphar his master. Joseph also had favour in prison and when he stood before Pharaoh he was favoured. When you have social prosperity people will like you without even them knowing why they like you. Even when you make mistakes they will still like you without knowing why. It is because God has put His favour upon your life. I want you to know that when social prosperity is working in your life it is easier for you to fulfill your destiny.

For instance in Acts 2:47, the early church had favour. That was one of the secrets of their growth because a church cannot grow without favour. So if you are a Pastor learn to ask God for favour with the community in which you pastor. The favour of God can accelerate the fulfilment of your destiny.

Instruction.
Please read Psalm 106:4, Isaiah 60:10 and ask God to remember you this year and grant you all that which your heart fondly wishes for.

For further study, read:
Esther 2:17, Nehemiah 1:11, Acts 7:9-10.

Doing the Word
Give the Lord thanks for favour in all that you do.
