Pray With Reverence

“He will fulfill the desires of those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him; He also will hear their cry and will save them.” Psalm 145:19 (AMP)

Today I want you to know that if you are going to get results every time you pray then you must make sure that you pray with reverence for God not arrogantly.

There are times people pray arrogantly to God as though God serves them, they do not talk to God as though they serve Him.

Do not allow your prayers to be just commands; “Father do this for me.” “Father do that for me.” Have you found out from Him what He wants you to do?

Our opening scripture reveals that God will fulfil the desires of those who fear Him. The question I would like to ask you is this, “Do you have a respect for God?”

I learnt that God has a love language and His love language is obedience. To obey God is to fear Him.

Psalm 112:1 (AMP) says, “PRAISE THE Lord! (Hallelujah!) Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who fears (reveres and worships) the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments.”

If you want to get to the point in God where your wishes come to pass without you praying or asking God for it, then you need to live in reverence towards God.

Instruction.
Please read Exodus 33:13 and 2 Peter 1:2 and ask God to reveal Himself to you so that you may experience an increase in grace.

For further study, read:
Psalm 2:11, Hebrews 5:7 (NKJV), Hebrews 12:28.

Doing the Word
Obey God willingly with reverence and godly fear.
