“Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your
requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7.
The sixth principle to follow in praying prayers that guarantees answers is to pray with thanksgiving. If you are praying, always pray with thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving is to prayer what salt is to food. Your prayer is tasteless without thanksgiving. Your prayer is worthless without thanksgiving. So whenever you pray thank God.
According to our opening scripture prayer without thanksgiving is incomplete. So whenever you pray for anything always conclude with thanking God for the answer.
When you examine the Pauline prayers, you will notice that he always prayed with thanksgiving. For instance in Ephesians 1:16 (MSG) he said, “I couldn't stop thanking God for you — every time I prayed, I'd think of you and give thanks.” Paul always gave thanks for them when he prayed for them.
Therefore with what you have learnt today, I encourage you to always accompany your prayers with thanksgiving because prayer without thanksgiving is incomplete.

Take out time today to count your blessings and give thanks to the Father for answers to all your prayers thus far.
