“And Jesus returned in the power of the
Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region
round about.”
Luke 4:14(KJV).
From the opening scripture, we can see that
the Holy Spirit can give you supernatural publicity. The bible says the fame of
Jesus went throughout the whole region. How? It was by the Holy Spirit. This
was a result of the fast he fasted.
Therefore, I want you to know that even as
you are obeying this instruction by God’s Spirit to fast this month, “Get ready
for Holy Ghost publicity for your business, Holy Ghost publicity for your
church, Holy Ghost publicity for your cell, and in all that has to do with
you.” So, this fast is not something that you should trivialize. God wants you
to understand that he has got so much in store for you.
Don’t struggle to fast, just depend on the
Holy Spirit even as you fast. Jesus didn’t need to struggle when he fasted
forty days. As you fast and pray, feed your spirit with the word of God, as you
do, you will minimize your struggles.
Do not be among those who like to find an
excuse why they should not fast. They say things like, “My body was feeling
weak, and that is why I did not fast.” That is like saying, “I stayed inside
the burning house because I was sick.” No, you would not say that, you would
muster the strength to come out of that burning house. Because you know that it
is a life and death issue. Same thing with this fast. It is not a hunger
strike. It is for your life, it is for your destiny. His grace is sufficient
for you.
This
fast is a strategic positioning of our destinies in this year and the coming
year. So he that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the Church.
PRAYER
Father I thank you for Holy Ghost publicity
during and after the course of this fast. May I begin to experience increased
angelic activity and unusual ease and progress in all that I set out to do in
Jesus Name. Amen.

DOING THE WORD
Read Colossians 4:2-4 and then pray that God
would open more doors of utterance for the spread of the gospel of the Lord
Jesus Christ in this nation.
