A WORD IN DUE SEASON SUNDAY 4TH AUGUST 2019

Have A Clear Vision

“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”
Proverbs 29:18.

From today, we are going to start identifying the roadblocks to progress. The first roadblock to progress is an unclear destination. If you don't have a clear destination in mind, you are pursuing an uncertain end. So you must have a clear destination.

Our opening scripture shows us that without a clear vision, you will perish. The word perish also means to 'run wild'. So one of the reasons why many cannot make progress is because of a lack of vision.

What is a vision? A vision is an image of a preferable future. It is a written description of the goal or objective you want to achieve. For instance, in this last five months of the year, it is important for you to ascertain clearly by itemizing in writing the things you want to see achieved before the end of the year. After you have done that, ensure that you pray about them daily. Finally, every day, try to write from memory the things you want to see achieved before the year ends. The ones you can consistently remember as you carry-out this exercise daily are inevitable. I have practiced it and I can tell you with all certainty that it works. Why? It is because success is a function of focus.
