A WORD IN DUE SEASON - TUESDAY 6TH AUGUST 2019

Invest In Knowledge

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, …”
Hosea 4:6.

Today, I want you to know that if you are going to succeed, you must keep on investing in knowledge. Knowledge gives speed in life. This is the reason why a lack of knowledge will hinder your progress in life. The quality of knowledge you possess is what determines the speed of your progress.

The word 'destroyed' in our opening scripture in the Greek means 'to fail', 'to be brought low', 'to be made dumb', 'to perish', etc. This reveals that the reason God's people fail is because of a lack of knowledge.

Knowledge is very important in the school of success. Jesus said in Matthew 11:29, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; …” This is important because your learning is what determines your earning and your gaining in life.

In Isaiah 5:13 the Bible says, “Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: …” Ecclesiastes 10:15 says, “The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.”

I encourage you to consistently invest on increasing the quality of knowledge you have in whatever you do.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that You fill me with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding in Jesus' Name. Amen.
