He Came To Fulfil Prophecy 12

“The main thing to keep in mind here is that no
prophecy of Scripture is a matter of private opinion.

And why? Because it's not something concocted in
the human heart. Prophecy resulted when the Holy
Spirit prompted men and women to speak God's
Word.”
2 Peter 1:20-21 (MSG).

These prophesies we have been examining
concerning Jesus given by the prophets as they
were prompted by the Holy Spirit
proves to us that everything God does, He does it
according to a plan in order to fulfill a purpose.
Everyone of God's plan was fulfilled in Jesus. He
came to fulfill all the plan of God with His life.

For instance it was prophesied that He will be
numbered (crucified) with the transgressors in
Isaiah 53:12, “Therefore I will divide Him a portion
with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with
the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto
death, And He was numbered with the
transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And
made intercession for the transgressors.”

To accomplish divine agenda, this prophecy was
fulfilled in the life of Jesus when He was dying, He
was hung on the cross with sinners thereby being
numbered (crucified) with the transgressors
according to the prophecy. “With Him they also
crucified two robbers, one on His right and the
other on His left. So the Scripture was fulfilled
which says, "And He was numbered with the
transgressors." Mark 15:27-28 (NKJV)
