He Came To Fulfil Prophecy 2

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the
prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.”

Matthew 5:17.

Our opening scripture shows us that Jesus
came to fulfill the law and the prophets. He
came to fulfill the prophecy of scripture.

Romans 15:8 says, “Now I say that Jesus Christ was
a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God,
to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:” The
life of Jesus was a confirmation of the promises
made to the fathers in the scriptures.

For instance, the scriptures reveal to us that Jesus is
the seed of Abraham according to Galatians 3:16
(NKJV) which says, “Now to Abraham and his Seed
were the promises made. He does not say, "And to
seeds," as of many, but as of one, "And to your
Seed," who is Christ.”

Now through Jesus Christ, the Word spoken to
Abraham was confirmed in Him and through Him,
now we who believe in Him are all children of
Abraham according to Galatians 3:26-29 which
says, “For ye are all the children of God by faith in
Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been
baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is
neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free,
there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in
Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye
Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the
promise.”

Confession.

In the Name of Jesus, I declare by my faith in
Jesus Christ that I am Abraham's seed, therefore
I am an heir according to the promise. Amen.

For further study, read:
Isaiah 53:10, Romans 4:13, Galatians 3:7.

Doing the Word

If you have believed in Jesus Christ know that
you are Abraham's seed and an heir according to
the promise.
