The Law Vs Right conduct.

The Law Vs Right conduct.
“Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,”
 1 Timothy 1:9

There is a religious school of thought that believes that it will be impossible for anyone to live right without the laws of Moses. If you are a student of the Bible, you will realize that Joseph lived before Moses and he lived right. That means that Joseph was able to live right without the laws of Moses.

The Bible shows us this in Genesis 39:7-9, “And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. But he refused, and said unto his master's wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand; There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” This proves to us that you do not need a law to know what is right or wrong. At this time that Joseph lived, there was no such law written saying, “Thou shall not commit adultery.” Yet he knew it was wrong.

When we submit ourselves to the grace of God in Jesus Christ and we get born again, the Bible lets us know that, we do not need the laws of Moses to live right because His laws are written in our hearts. See Hebrews 8:10-13. It is the unsaved that need the laws of Moses so that they can become guilty before God, repent and receive the salvation in Jesus Christ.

Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank you because your laws are written in my heart. May your grace strengthen me to live a life that is blameless and without reproach in your sight always, in Jesus Name. Amen.
