Solicit Divine Help

“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the
tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto
me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.”
Habakkuk 2:1.

The place of prayer cannot be over
emphasized when determining your focus
and vision for a New Year. This is why you
can see Habakkuk taking out time to pray in our
opening scripture so he could see what God would
say to him.

I want you to know that no matter how well you
have already planned out this year, it is time for you
to commit those plans to the Lord. Pray concerning
your focus, vision and plans for this year and listen
to hear what God will say to you concerning them.
Be flexible and willing to align your plans with
God's.

Psalm 37:5 says, “Commit thy way unto the Lord;
trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”

Proverbs 16:3 (NIV) says, “Commit to the Lord
whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.”

Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Be careful for nothing; but
in every thing by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto
God. And the peace of God, which passeth all
understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds
through Christ Jesus.”

Instruction.
Please read Acts 14:26 and ask God to give you
grace to finish whatever you start this year.

For further study, read:
Job 22:28, Psalm 85:8, Lamentations 3:37,
James 4:15.

Doing the Word.
Write out your plans and commit them to the
Lord.
