Where is your trust?

Tuesday, May  10th
Where is your trust?

“Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; …”
Jeremiah 17:5-6

If you do not make God your source, you will miss your opportunities. Our opening scripture shows us that the man who does not make God is source will not see when good comes. Therefore, the day you begin to put your trust in any man for your well being, that is the day you began to empower yourself to fail. You will be empowered to prosper no matter the economic situation when all your trust is in God as your source and only resource.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 say, “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.” The Bible shows us that when God is your source, you will not experience financial heat. So the reason many are experiencing financial heat is because their salary is their source. Now that the salary has not been paid they are now stranded.

Do not depend on your salary or the government as your source. Make God your source because when God is your source, He will meet your needs and keep you financially buoyant even in the year of drought. This is what God wants to do for you so I encourage you to release your faith for this, stop complaining, turn your trust away from every man and rely solely on God. Put His Word in your mouth and let Him guide you into a life of abundance.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I turn away from trusting man and the arm of the flesh. I put my trust and faith in you as my source and only resource. Teach me how to profit in these days and give me ideas that will fetch me an income for a lifetime, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Doing the Word
Stop complaining about the economy, instead say what you want to see; speak prosperity and the blessing.
