“Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of
God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also
loves him who is begotten of Him. By this we know
that we love the children of God, when we love God
and keep His commandments. For this is the love of
God, that we keep His commandments. And His
commandments are not burdensome.”
1 John 5:1-3 (NKJV)
Our opening scripture reveals that if you are
born of God, you will love the children of
God. Are you really born of God? It will be revealed in the way you treat other Christians.
As a Christian, never work against the Body of
Christ to destroy it because that will mean you are
taking sides with the devil.
Do not go behind your spouse, if you are married,
or any member of the Body of Christ to tear them
down with your words. If you accommodate strife
in your heart or foster strife within the Body of
Christ, you will open yourself up to demonic
oppressions and bodily weaknesses because you
are dishonouring the Body of Christ.
It has been discovered that bitterness can lead to
cancer. Therefore I encourage you to walk in love
with all men because walking in love will sustain
you in health. So the next time you are tempted to
hate, remember that love is your defense.
Confession
In the Name of Jesus I declare that I am a love
child of a love God. I do not hate because I do
not have the capacity to hate. Love is my nature
and love is my lifestyle. Praise God.
