Go for revelation knowledge 1.

Wednesday, July 6th Go for revelation knowledge 1. “…but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32b If your desire is for God to do great things through your life, then the obsession of your heart should be to know Jesus. Knowing Him refines our character, transforms and strengthens us. It is possible to know the Bible and not know God or Jesus just like the chief priests and scribes. They knew what was written in the scriptures about the Son of God, yet they did not recognize Jesus when He was born. In Matthew chapter 2 when the wise men from the East came to the palace of Herod in Jerusalem wanting to know where Jesus was born, the chief priests and the scribes of the people answered immediately, saying: “… In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.” Matthew 2:5-6. They knew the scriptures, but they did not know Jesus. The scriptures testified of Him but they did not have a revelation of who Jesus really was because their spiritual understanding was not enlightened. 2 Corinthians 4:3-6(CEV) say, “If there is anything hidden about our message, it is hidden only to someone who is lost. The god who rules this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers. They cannot see the light, which is the good news about our glorious Christ, who shows what God is like. We are not preaching about ourselves. Our message is that Jesus Christ is Lord. He also sent us to be your servants. The Scriptures say, "God commanded light to shine in the dark." Now God is shining in our hearts to let you know that his glory is seen in Jesus Christ.” Therefore the more of Jesus Christ you know by revelation, the more the glory of God is manifested in and through your life. Instruction. Read Galatians 4:19 and pray that Christ may be formed in you. For further study, read: Philippians 3:7-15. Doing the Word. Pray that the light of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ will shine upon the hearts of all who will hear the gospel of Jesus Christ today. Bible reading for today: Luke chapters 6-10
