Trust God's timing.

Sunday, July 24th Trust God's timing. “God makes everything happen at the right time.” Ecclesiastes 3:11a (CEV) It takes humility to trust God's timing. Do not try to make anything happen before the time. Ecclesiastes 3:1 (CEV) says, “Everything on earth has its own time and its own season.” When you jump the gun in God's timing, you make your life difficult. When you study the life of Jesus, you will notice that He made sure He stayed within the confines of God's timing. For instance, when His mother Mary came to Him and told Him that they had no wine in the marriage at Cana of Galilee, Jesus did not do anything until He knew it was time. Read John 2:1-11. The reason people lie or manipulate others to get what they want is because they do not trust God's timing. Therefore, since they believe that God is irresponsible and cannot provide, they decide to jump the process. Always remember that whenever you jump the process, you will give birth to an Ishmael, and whatever you get outside of God's will for your life can never make you fulfilled. Do not force the process. When it is time it will happen with ease. Wait for God's timing. If you will be patient with God's timing, things will happen a lot quicker. True humility is depending on God's power and His timing. When you are proud, you will be comparing yourself with your mates and your neighbors. When you are proud you will be impatient; but also remember that fast guys do not always win. The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 9:11, “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.” I pray that you will not miss your timing, in Jesus' Name. Amen. Prayer. Dear Father, I ask that you give to me an understanding of the times that I may know precisely what I ought to do in every phase of my life such that your timing will meet me prepared in ever season, in Jesus' Name. Amen. For further study, read: 1 Chronicles 12:32, Ecclesiastes 3:17, Ecclesiastes 8:5-6. Doing the Word Apply yourself to a greater level of discipline, determination, spiritual and mental development as you press towards the fulfillment of God's plan and purpose for your life. Bible reading for today: Luke chapters 17-19 and Matthew chapters 7-9.
