Liberated by truth 1.

“Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.”
2 Corinthians 2:11(KJV)

In spiritual warfare ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance is deadly. It has been said that, “The strength of the oppressor is the ignorance of the oppressed.”

Psalm 82:5 says, “They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness …” In other words, darkness prevails in the absence of knowledge. Therefore, ignorance is darkness.

People who are ignorant of God's truth are living in darkness according to the Word of God. That is why the Bible says in Psalm 119:130, “The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” So, whenever the word of God gains entrance into your heart, it brings light.

In Hosea 4:6, the Bible says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge …” Notice that God said that His own people are destroyed. The word destroyed in this verse we just read means to be brought to nothing, to be made dumb, it means failure; it means to perish or to be destroyed. In other words, God is saying that my people fail, my people are brought to nothing, to silence, because of a lack of knowledge.

Now you need to know that failure is always traceable to ignorance. Defeat is always traceable to ignorance. If you are failing or struggling right now, it is traceable to something you do not know. It has been said that “Every man's ignorance is his mountain.” Your life is as difficult as what you know or don't know. So, it is important that you go for truth because the truth of God's word is what would liberate you.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I receive the engrafted word into my heart today with meekness. May the illumination and light which your word brings eradicate every darkness from my life, bringing liberation from every struggle, ability for every weakness and solutions to every problem in Jesus Name. Amen.

DOING THE WORD
Carefully study to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
