Go for the truth in the word of God.

“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil… Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth …”
Ephesians 6:11,14(KJV).

Our opening scripture lets us know that we are dealing with a scheming devil. A devil that is trying to outwit us, therefore, we need to use the knowledge of truth in the word of God to stand against all the wiles (lies or deceit) of the devil.

2 Corinthians 11:2-3(ISV) says, “I am jealous of you with God's own jealousy, because I promised you in marriage to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ.  However, I am afraid that just as the serpent deceived Eve by its tricks, so your minds may somehow be lured away from sincere and pure devotion to Christ.” From the above scripture, we see that one of the ways satan corrupts the minds of people is by deceit. This is why we need to have the truth, so that we can always have victory in spiritual warfare.

Ephesians 6:12 says, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”  The Good News Bible of Ephesians 6:12 reads thus: “For we are not fighting against human beings but against the wicked spiritual forces in the heavenly world, the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers of this dark age.”  So, we can see from the above that we are not in warfare against human beings. Your real enemy in spiritual warfare is the devil and his cohorts and their major wile against
us is deceit, which is why you must continually stand in the truth of the word of God.

PRAYER
