Preserved from wrath.

Preserved from wrath.

"Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; …" Genesis 19:19

A man named Lot who had the fear of God was living in the land of Sodom and Gomorrah. The people of Sodom vexed God by the abominations which they committed. Therefore, God sent His angels to destroy the city. Before they did, the angels spared Lot and he escaped with his two daughters because of the mercy of God.

This story is the reason why I believe that every Christian ought to be exempted from evil and destruction. Therefore, I pray for you today, "If there is any destruction or danger near you, because of the mercy of God you are spared in Jesus Name."

God exempts us from all evil because we have found grace in His sight. In Genesis 6:8 the Bible says, "But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD." Therefore Noah and his family were spared from destruction. Grace spares us from divine judgment and wrath. It is not the same for the unbeliever. He is not spared from wrath and destruction because the wrath of God abides on him according to John 3:36.

Therefore, even as the rest of the world was destroyed by the flood in the days of Noah and the people of Sodom were destroyed by fire in the days of Lot, anybody who is not born again today will not be able to escape wrath and divine judgment when they come. Yet, every Christian is exempted from wrath because God's grace is upon them.

Instruction.

Pray for believers everywhere that they be exempted and spared from all destruction and wrath.
