God loves you.

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” James 1:5.

If God gives to all liberally, it means that when you come to God to ask for anything, He does not respond to you because you are good. He responds to you because He loves you. For instance, Jesus did not go to the house of Zacchaeus because He was a good and righteous man. He went there because He loved Him. Same thing with you, do not think that God would not respond to you or start moving in your life until you are perfect. It is important you know this because, when you know that God loves you unconditionally, you will be obligated to love Him unconditionally yourself.

For instance, some people backslide because, they think that they have been serving God and He has refused to meet their needs. They are thinking that their good works were meant to bribe God. Only if they knew that God is more willing to meet their needs even before they had the need. Just as before you knew you needed a Saviour, your Saviour had already died for your sins. Before you needed healing, healing was already provided for you. Before you asked for forgiveness, forgiveness was already provided, because, God gives to all men liberally without finding fault.

In the bible, when Jesus was praying for the sick, He never called them to ask if they had sin in their lives before He prayed for them. No. He healed them because they came to Him in faith in His goodness, and ability to heal them. Do not forget that it is the goodness of God that leads to repentance. (Romans 2:4)

Today, God extends His love to you, He wants to meet your needs, He wants to save you, He wants to heal you, and He wants to forgive you more than you want to be forgiven. Only respond to His love to you today in faith and you shall have all that you desire of Him.

PRAYER

Father, thank you for loving me unconditionally. Today, I take advantage of your love and your abundant provisions towards me. I thank you for by the stripes of Jesus, I am healed. I thank you be for giving me all things freely to enjoy in Jesus Name. Amen.
