The believing factor.

“And when the disciples saw it, they _marveled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away! Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”
Matthew 21:20-22,

Jesus is letting us know from this scripture that the realm of faith is the realm of limitless possibilities. There is no limit to what you can have in the realm of faith. For instance, let’s say you prayed for a job and you believed that you received it after praying, but when you got to the place where you applied, you discovered that your name was not on the list of those taken for employment. As you are about to leave, they say to you that another list will be coming out soon. Then, you go to God in prayer again, and say, “Father, I pray that my name shall be in this second list.”

So, you go again and yet, your name is not there. And now, you are discouraged, because you are waiting to see before you believe. So, you lost it. The bible says, “... Believing, ye shall receive.” So, if you do not believe, you shall not receive. The believing factor is the missing ingredient in many prayers.

Jesus showing us the possibilities of faith says in Matthew 21:22, “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” Then He says in Mark 11:23, “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” In other words, Jesus is letting us know that faith is a law. If you observe, He did not say that it may be done if you believe. No, He says, it shall be done if you believe.

PRAYER
Father, I choose to believe your word. Your word to me is true inspite of contrary evidence. I stand my ground in faith, knowing that I have all that I have prayed about and declared according to your word. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Matthew 7:7-11, John 15:7, John 16:24, I John 3:22, 1 John 5:14-15.

DOING THE WORD
Be confident knowing that whatsoever you have asked for in faith is already yours.
