Made free by faith

"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned."  Romans 5:12 (KJV)

From our opening scripture, we see that when Adam sinned, he sinned for us. He sinned for you before you sinned. For instance, the child that was born deformed was born that way not because of anything he did. But we know, that from the beginning it was not so. So, Adam's sin was the reason satan could deform that child.

So, Adam was sins door. When he sinned, the sentence was death, and that death was accounted to everybody that comes into this world. This is why you have to get born again, because the sentence of death is upon everyone in the world that is not born again. Remember, Romans 3:23 says “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Everybody did not need to sin, Adam's sin was accounted as your sin. And for this reason we have come short of the glory of God. How? One man (Adam) came short of the glory of God, and we were all in Adam. If you read 1st Corinthians 15:22, the Bible says, "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." Let me explain this to you by using the story of the slave trade.

During the slave trade, the slave masters only needed to buy a mature male slave. When that male slave was bought, every child that will be borne by him was also bought, and will automatically become a slave when he or she is born, because they were in their father when he was bought as a slave. Therefore, as soon as a child is born from a slave, he automatically becomes a slave at birth. Not because of any wrong of his, but because his father was a slave. The child may hate been a slave, but he is still a slave.

When Adam sinned, we all became slaves. In Romans 7:14, the Bible says "For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin." Man didn't need to do anything to be sold under sin. He became a slave of sin because the first man (Adam) was a slave to sin.

Then, when the emancipation proclamation was made by Abraham Lincoln, every slave that was born after that proclamation was automatically free. Before then, slaves that had to run from the south to the north to be free, but now, they were free, and they didn't need to run anywhere.

In the same way, Christ has died as payment for the sins of every man, and the gospel; which is the proclamation of our freedom is been preached. Whosoever hears and believes it will be saved, and made free from every yoke of bondage. Praise God.

CONFESSION
I believe in the Lord Jesus. He is the Lord of my life. I believe in His death, burial and resurrection for me. He has made me free from the yoke of sin and death. I enjoy the liberty that I have been given in Christ and I refuse to be entangled again by the yoke of bondage. Amen.

DOING THE WORD
Now that you are free in Christ, refused to be entangled again by the yoke of bondage
