Right to command obedience.

“And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.”
Mark 1:27(KJV)

Remember that we defined authority as the right to command and enforce obedience. That is exactly what we see Jesus exercising in our opening scripture over the unclean spirit which He cast out of the man.  See Mark 1:23-27.

The unclean spirit had to obey Jesus because Jesus has authority over all devils and demons. It is important you also walk with that consciousness as a child of God because according to Luke 10:19, Jesus said “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” That means all devils and demons have been made subject unto you.

The Bible also tells us in Philippians 2:10, “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;” Therefore, know that as a child of God, when you use the name of Jesus, it gives you authority over hings in heaven, things on earth, and things under the earth.

Therefore be confident in the Name of Jesus, because in that Name you have been given the right to command and enforce obedience every time in every sphere.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank you for the authority that you have given to me in the Name of Jesus. Thank you Father for all devils are subject unto me in that Name. Therefore I declare in the Name of Jesus that every blessing that I have been blessed with in heavenly places in Christ Jesus is manifested in my life in this season in Jesus Name. Amen.
